The home cinema PC at the
heart of the system is a PIII 700 with 196 meg of RAM and a 15 Gig hard disk. A
Pinnacle Win TV card allows for the occasional Laserdisc input for playback of
the Starwars Trilogy. Power DVD plays the DVD discs and an Airboard
keyboard/mouse IR controller sits on my lap.
I'm thinking about
completely overhauling the HCPC as I'm not happy with the Airboard. I should
use my Pronto to control the HCPC.
Despite having nearly
10,000 hours on the clock and original tubes, the Barco still produces a great
picture.
